ONSITE RE-ASSEMBLY
Meadowlark Log Homes does not provide onsite log home re-assembly outside of the state of Montana. We are simply a direct shipper of our products to places other than Montana. For locations outside of the state of Montana, the Customer is responsible for all onsite construction and re- assembly of the log home. However, we can assist you in locating a Builder, or a Builder/ Dealer to provide this service, as detailed further below.
We pre- assemble your handmade, hand-peeled log home or timber frame home package at our Libby, Montana plant to high standards of Amish craftsmanship, meeting or exceeding all national and international building codes.
Because of the high level of quality and inspections, Meadowlark is certified to ship our log homes and related products to Customers in other countries. For international Customers, a special LHC certificate of quality standards is provided for Customs and local building departments in the country of import.
All logs must pass through strict quality controls. First, each log is subjected to Meadowlark's own rigorous, in- house inspection. In addition, each log is grade stamped and certified according to LHC log grading standards. Each Customer recieves their own LHC log certification report along with the shipment of the home!
The pre- assembly system allows us to maintain strict quality control standards, assuring trouble- free re-assembly at your building site.
We offer your onsite solution through our skilled and highly qualified Independent Builder/ Dealers located throughout the United States, and other Builders as well. See Builder Dealer Locator
In addition to our Builder/ Dealers, Meadowlark has access to several professional Builders who come to our Customer's location worldwide and re- assemble the log or timber frame home. We can estimate your re- assembly costs, and put you in touch with one of these independent Builders for re- assembly..
How do I get an idea of cost to set the log home on my building site and put a roof on it? The following may be helpful to get an idea of the different costs. Please contact our Meadowlark staff for a quick estimate on your re- assembly cost.

Complete, Pre Assembled Log Package, Average Price: $25.00 per sq. ft.
2. Log Package Re- Assembly, including labor, gaskets, fasteners, and crane, Average Cost: $6.00 per sq. ft.
3. Roof Assembly with labor, T&G ceiling, insulation, felt on roof, trimmed with fascia, Average Cost: $13.00 per sq. ft.
4. Windows/ Doors installed cost: Average $3.50 per sq. ft.
5. Subfloor, average cost: $7.00 per sq. ft.
Total of items above for basic dry in: $54.50 per sq. ft.
Total average cost of ALL OTHER ITEMS, such as concrete, electrical, stain, finish, EVERYTHING ELSE: $80 per sq. ft.
Average cost of fully complete, turnkey Meadowlark Log Home: $135.00 per sq. ft.
