| The Yaak log cabin is a floor plan that evolved from the Kalispell and grew to include a covered side porch and a basement. This makes it very much like a cute, real log home at only 604 sq. ft. In case you wondered, the name Yaak comes from the area where this log cabin was built. The Yaak is a region in the extreme northwest corner of Montana where numerous hardy souls live. Meadowlark is happy to report that many of our log homes are built there, which is a good thing, because the winters get long and cold in the Yaak. |
